Earmilk was originally founded by 4 music aficionados: electblake, thekid , jaypea, & montrey. Even though they all have different music tastes they came together with the sole purpose of showing their visitors new music, in all genres, that they feel is worthy of your ears.

Noisey is a video-driven music discovery platform, documenting the most talented emerging musicians from around the world. Curated by VICE, the site showcases bands and music scenes from over 10 countries.

The Hype Machine keeps track of what music bloggers write about. They handpick a set of kickass music blogs and then present what they discuss for easy analysis, consumption and discovery. This way, your odds of stumbling into awesome music or awesome blogs are high. is an old school style chatroom with a new twist where everyone has the ability to be the DJ. The chatroom allows users to stream music of their choice and play DJ in front of the room.  You can have up to five DJs at a time who create their own playlist.  The station cycles through the DJ’s one song at a time as the room votes on how “lame” to “awesome” the record is. As a DJ you gain points for picking songs that other people like in the room. was one of the first MP3 blogs and remains the leading online community for independent and alternative music news, downloads, and videos.
